Machine safety – Behind the scenes (Panel Discussion): Panel moderated by DGUV V 17/18–authorised expert Laura van Haperen, involving Blumano experts working in the entertainment industry to discuss safety for stage machinery, and what engineers and safety experts go through behind the scenes. Our experts will share their approaches and the challenges they face when assessing and validating mechanical, electrical and functional designs.

Who’s the manufacturer – Integration of machinery and controls (Lecture): Presentation and Q+A which discusses what happens when an installer, rental company or system integrator combines partly completed machinery with a control system, and who bears the final responsibility in the event of a substantial modification or the replacement of a theatrical control system. The lecture will also cover the responsibilities and the legal requirements related to the integration of stage machinery with control systems designed by third party manufacturers, ownership and the CE marking.
