Why did Edén Muñoz’s stage collapse?
The municipal government of Meoqui reported, via Facebook, that the cause of the stage collapse was the strong winds that were recorded throughout the region, causing trees and high-tension cables to fall on the side of the road; as well as lifting roofs in residential homes in the area.
“Given the weather events that occurred this afternoon, strong winds created damage in different parts of the municipality,” reads the statement about the cancellation of the music event.
Detailing that they correspond to the weather phenomena known as Eolometeor and Hydrometeor, whose strength is compared to a cyclone or the winds of a category 1 hurricane. Weather conditions that surprised the organizers of the concert.
What did Eden Muñoz say?
In a video posted on his Instagram, the regional Mexican singer reported that he and his team are safe. In addition to specifying that there were no injuries due to the collapse of the structure of the stage where he would sing, a fact confirmed by the municipal authorities of Meoqui.
“Thank God everyone is fine, the damage is material. It’s something that I don’t want to get out of context because suddenly a lot of things are said on the networks,” said the interpreter of ‘La nena’.
In the same recording, Edén Muñoz invited his followers to his new presentation that was rescheduled for Sunday, August 4 in the same municipality, so his fans will have to wait another month for this concert.
