- Brazilian singer Xand Avião burned his right arm while singing at a concert in São Paulo on Saturday night
- The pop artist was in the middle of his set at the Viixe Forró and Piseiro festival when the stage prop machine let out two flames
- One of the flames covered his arm for a few seconds before it went out
- The 40-year-old was able to finish his performance and after the show flew to Brasilia to sing at another concert
Xand Avião was performing at the Arena das Dunas soccer stadium in Natal, Brazil as part of the Viixe Forró and Piseiro festival on Saturday night.
Mid-show, one of the smoke machines at the front of the stage appeared to catch alight and blasted a burst of flames just as Avião approached.
Footage of the moment captured the crowd’s gasps as the singer disappeared behind a wall of flames.
The 40-year-old quickly backed away from the accidental flame thrower and returned to his band.
Thankfully, he was not harmed and was able to complete his set.
