This risk assessment course is designed to provide stage machinery designers, system integrators and the operators working in the entertainment industry with an in-depth understanding of the risk analysis process and the fundamental steps needed to carry out a risk assessment. Check here for info on ORA (Online Risk Assessment).
Through step-by-step lessons—using case studies and with the help of our StageDB application—you will learn the requirements of the Machinery Directive and the guidelines from EN 17206:2020. The course also focuses on the identification of hazard types and the estimation and evaluation of safety requirements in the implemented risk reduction measures.
This course explores the fundamentals of the risk assessment, architectures and tools. You will navigate through the entire risk assessment process and by the end of the course gain a solid understanding of the core responsibilities in stage machinery risk management and have drafted, discussed and compiled a full machinery or scenic motion risk assessment.
