Twenty years ago, there were hardly any engineering standards specific to the theatre industry.
Thanks to the hard work of many individuals within the entertainment industry there are now a draft of standards created both in Europe and the USA.

Presented by BLUMANO, Lluis, Michael Lichter and Bill Sapsis, in this session will look at these emerging standards, the effects that they will have on a once unregulated industry, and will also update the audience concerning how the CEN TC433/WG1 works to publish a European standard for lifting and load bearing equipment for stages and other production areas within the entertainment industry.

Tuesday 5th of June – 10:30AM – Savoy Place, London, the Global Engineering Hub of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
